May 20: Green Infrastructure Breakfast – ‘A Roadmap for Economic Success’

Join HeartLands Conservancy at their 2014 Green Infrastructure Breakfast, ‘A Roadmap for Economic Success’ and hear keynote speaker Laura Bray, Executive Director of the Menomonee Valley Partners in Milwaukee. The redevelopment of the 1,200 acre Menomonee Valley has been a national model of economic and environmental sustainability. The Valley has used green infrastructure as a key resource to attract business and investment. Since 1999, the Menomonee Valley has attracted 35 companies and more than 5,000 jobs.

Come to the breakfast to be inspired on how a connected system of green infrastructure can create a win-win situation of stormwater management, access to nature, increased quality of life, biodiversity, and economic success! The breakfast will be Tuesday, May 20, 7:30 - 9 AM, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Collinsville.
