The Lab will be held in two locations Alton and St. Louis.


St. Louis Location

(T-Rex, 911 Washington Ave, 5th Floor, St. Louis, MO 63101)

Open networking will take place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the T-Rex common area on the 5th floor.

3:30 - 3:45: Check-in
3:45 - 5:15: Electric Vehicle Infrastructure - two presentations

Drive Clean. Drive Electric.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are getting increasing attention in the automotive world and from consumers. Bryan Shannon, will speak on the benefits of EVs. Come to learn how Ameren Missouri is working to enable and accelerate electrification of transportation and why it is such a win for everyone. Hear about Ameren Missouri's new incentive program for busiesses to install EV charging as well as efforts to develop statewide fast charging for long distance travel.

EV Charge-sharing in Downtown STL

SoLis Mobility will open the first of its EV "charge-sharing" locations near the intersection of Market Street and Jefferson Avenue in St. Louis in May 2020. Luke Schuette will share how the new EV charging infrastructure integrates with sustainable design and development through materials, renewable solar energy, car sharing, healthy grab-and-go food, and more.

5:30 - 6:45: Known & Grown STL: Farming in America - Improving Our Food Systems

Farming in America has become dominated by corporate, factory farming and concentrated animal feeding operations, impacting our planet and human health. Join a discussion about Known & Grown STL, a program of the Missouri Coalition for the Environment promoting local, environmentally responsible farmers within 150 miles of St. Louis. Attendees will learn how to take action to improve our food system, including learning to decipher misleading labels, vetting Community Supported Agriculture programs and farmers markets, and encouraging restaurants and institutions to increase their local sourcing.

St. Peters Location 

There will be no Lab in St. Peters this month. Go Green St. Charles County will stream the EV infrastructure presentations from the Sustainability Lab @ T-Rex.
