Bi-State Development Agency - 2013 State of the Agency Report
The Bi-State Development Agency is also known as Metro. The 2013 State of the Agency Report was first published as a special insert t the St. Louis Business Journal. While most St. Louisans know Metro as the regional transit agency, they are also regional economic development agency. The annual report briefly explains all of their activities and what they intend to do in the near future.
Regional Freight Study
The intent of the St. Louis Regional Freight Study is to clarify the current status of freight movement through the St. Louis Region as well as the future ability of local freight infrastructure to sustain growth in jobs and economic opportunity, as the St. Louis Region recovers from the Great Recession.
Regional Transportation Plan 2040
Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) 2040 is the St. Louis region’s long-range transpor- tation plan. Throughout the development of RTP 2040, the Council has looked for ways to expand the range of issues that frame the structure and scope of this document. Issues such as economic develop- ment, ecological principles and public involvement have been incorporated into the direction that transportation investments will take over the course of the long-range plan.
The State of the System and Technical Supplement to RTP 2040
This document serves as the State of the System Report and the Technical Supplement to the St. Louis area’s Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) 2040 produced by East-West Gateway Council of Governments (the Council). Contained within are five sections that detail the analysis that went into the RTP’s development and highlights the Council’s transportation planning activities.
